I have noticed numerous small groups of Noisy Friarbirds moving through the Newcastle NSW area in a roughly northerly direction over the last two days. Could be the start of a migration. Usually see Yellow-faced Honeyeaters doing the same thing at this time of year but haven't noticed any yet.
