Highlights in New South Wales over the last week are as follows: DOUBLE-BANDED PLOVER 1 McGrath's Hill, Windsor 30/3 BLACK-TAILED GODWIT 1 Homebush Bay Wetland, Sydney 30/3 PECTORAL SANDPIPER 3 McGrath's Hill, Windsor 30/3 GLOSSY BLACK COCKATOO 3 Patonga, Central Coast 30/3 and 3 (same birds?) Eumina 20/3 POWERFUL OWL 1 heard Mangrove Mountain, Central Coast 19/3 SUPERB FRUIT-DOVE 1 Jamberoo, South Coast 19/3 I shall be away for a few weeks and so no email updates till May - but the tape will be updated.
