Nestbox usage information request

I have a request from Rob Morrison of the Dept of Environmental Studies at
Flinders University for information on bird usage of nestboxes and other
artificial hollows.

Rob contributed an article to the first issue of ECLECTUS indicating that
fly larvae in the nesting hollows of Adelaide Rosellas were symbiotic rather
than parasitic, and performed a useful function by breaking down the
nestlings' droppings and removing moisture from them, thereby maintaining
the viability of the hollows as nest sites.
