On a windy snorkeling trip to Rottnest yesterday I managed to sneak in a bit 
of birdwatching while cycling around the island:

Caspian Tern, 
Crested Tern, 
Avocet x 3
Banded Stilts x 100
Osprey - carrying a fish
Ruddy Turnstones
Red-necked stints
Sanderlings
?? grey plover x 1
Pied cormorant
Silver gull
Shelduck
Black Duck
Grey Teal
Spotless Crake
White fronted Chat
Rock Parrots x 4
Rainbow Bee Eater
Welcome Swallow
Tree Martin
Kestrel
Sacred Kingfisher
Peafowl and chicks (are these peachicks or chickpeas?)
Spotted and Senegal turtle doves
Ringneck pheasant
Aust raven
Singing honeyeater
Silvereye (heard not seen)

Plus lots of fish!
