Square-tailed kite at Kurnell

A square-tailed kite, a rare bird around Sydney was seen by many at the
Cumberland Bird Observers Club outing to Kurnell. 

A walk to Boat Harbour produced the expected Double-banded plovers and two
White-fronted terns along with a Reef Egret.

The day ended at Cape Solander where we saw a Black-browed Albatross and six
Hump-backed Whales breeching and playing as they meandered north. At the
Captain Cook Landing site a second year Pacific Gull was on the shore.

Over seventy species were seen many of which were lifers for a visitor from
England.
