WOLLONGONG NSW BOAT TRIP REPORT - 25.2.96.
Those (8 PEOPLE ONLY - THANKS FOR THEIR SUPPORT!!!) on board: Phil Hansbro, 
Peter Milburn, Tony Palliser, John Reidy, Mike Ronan, Peter Mason and his 
daughter, Conrad ? a visitor from Ireland.
The sea had a 0.5 M swell and there was a 5 knot North Easterly. We headed 
North East to 30 nautical miles but could find no trawlers. There were good 
numbers of birds for this time of year but they weren't hungry and did not come 
into the boat.

Black-browed Albatross (1 adult of the race impavida, which is only the second 
March record)
Great-winged Petrel 30+
Solander's Petrel 5+
Flesh-footed Shearwater 10+
Wedge-tailed Shearwater 400+
Short-tailed Shearwater 20+
Fluttering Shearwater 10+
Wilson's Storm-Petrel 3+
A. Pelican 5+
Australasian Gannet 16+
Kelp Gull 5+
Silver Gull 50+
Arctic Skua 10+
Pomarine Skua 30+
Crested Tern 9
Little Pied Cormorant 1
Great Cormorant 4
Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoo 2 from the harbour.
The next trips are from Wollongong on Sunday the 28th of March and from Sydney 
on the 14th of April. There are lots of places left on both trips.
