I have been in WA since October last year, and I have not seen a White
winged black tern over here yet. This observation is totally empirical, but
all types of seabirds seem to me to be less common off the west coast than
off NSW. Though I did see a Yellow-nosed Albatross soaring over land near
Two Peoples Bay.
