- “Letters to the Editor” for short research articles (3-4 published pages).

All articles in the special issue are peer-reviewed and are published on line in JASA shortly after acceptance. Once the issue is closed (May 31) and all articles accepted, all will appear in a special JASA issue
as well. But, the important point is that papers, once accepted, are online, listed in the recent issue of JASA, and open access.
There are NO charges for publication in the special issue. And, even as the Impact Factor of JASA continues to rise, we also see that articles in special issues, such as this, have rather higher impact factors than regular
articles.
