The second webinar in the 4-part, 2022 Discovery of Sound in the Sea (DOSITS) Underwater Acoustics Webinar Series is scheduled for this Wednesday, May 12, 2022, at 12:00 pm EDT.  During this free, 60-minute webinar, Dr. Aaron Thode (Scripps Institute of Oceanography) will provide an overview of key concepts and methods related to acoustic propagation modeling. The webinar will include a presentation followed by a period of facilitated discussion. An outline for the presentation, with associated DOSITS links, can be found linked on the 2022 DOSITS Webinar page.

This event is open to all interested individuals, however, registration is required. For a registration link and other details, please visit the 2022 Webinar Series page on the DOSITS website: https://dosits.org/decision-makers/webinar-series/2022-webinar/Registered participants are encouraged to review the presentation outline in advance of the webinar.

All DOSITS webinars are hosted via Zoom; a YouTube link will also be made available to registered participants. All webinars will be recorded and posted to the DOSITS website about 1-2 weeks following each live event.
