Dear colleagues, We are pleased to announce the publication of a special issue entitled "Passive acoustics: a new addition to the freshwater monitoring toolbox" in Freshwater Biology this month. Here is the table of contents and here is a short article about it. This special issue contains 15 articles about freshwater ecoacoustic monitoring. 49 co-authors from 26 institutions have contributed to this issue.
