Hello everyone,

Following a thread on this list from a couple of months ago by Shira Gordon, I've gone ahead and created https://bioacousticsdatasets.weebly.com/ with the goal of centralizing efforts to list/track bioacoustics datasets.

In addition to the repositories listed on the aforementioned thread (see website section "Repositories"), the website also lists bioacoustics datasets that are pre-packaged, licensed, versioned and labeled for easy use in research projects, for example the application of machine learning to bioacoustic signal analysis (see section "Datasets").

Any/all feedback is welcome, including:
  • Something like this exists already (where?)
  • Datasets/repositories you'd like to see added
  • Corrections to the currently listed datasets/repositories
  • General comments/feedback about the website.
Please note this website is a voluntary, unfunded project :) Hope the community finds it useful!

Cheers,
Justin
