Dear All.
The University of Torino (Italy) has opened the call for the admission to the PhD Programs of the school of Biological Sciences and Applied Biotecnologies (XXXV
cycle), starting in October 2019.
Applications must be submitted by 16th April 2019 at 12:00 (noon, Central European Time)
Available positions are: positions with scholarships, positions without scholarships and positions reserved to students with international qualifications.
Scholarships will be awarded according to the merit ranking list (Please check Art. 8).
Applicants of any citizenship and age can participate to this Call for Admission, provided that they meet one of the following requirements:

A degree awarded by an Italian University prior to Ministerial Decree 509/99, i.e. laurea vecchio ordinamento (L);

A second level degree awarded by an Italian University (pursuant to Ministerial Decree 509/99 and Ministerial Decree 270/04, i.e. laurea magistrale (LM) or laurea specialistica (LS));

A Master’s degree level or other equivalent academic qualification of second cycle level awarded by a foreign university and granting access to PhD studies.

Applicants whose degrees will be awarded after call deadline (16th April
2019) may apply under the condition that their qualification obtained within 31 October 2019.

Applicants that are holders or are applying for international protection shall contact the PhD office ( that
will start a dedicated assessment procedure.
