Special Session on Ecoacoustics at ASA 2017 in Boston

Dear Colleagues,
We are pleased to announce a special session on Ecosystem Acoustics at the
Acoustics '17 meeting in Boston, Massachusetts from June 25-29, 2017. This
meeting is jointly hosted by the Acoustical Society of America and the
European Acoustics Association.

The focus of the session is bring together researchers in the field to
present and discuss advances in ecosystem acoustics (or ecoacoustics),
using passive acoustic recordings to assess ecosystem level processes over
larger spatio-temporal scales than previously possible, in both terrestrial
and marine ecosystems.

The call for abstracts and registration for the meeting are now open and

Abstract submissions are due on 9 January, 2017 for consideration for
inclusion in the session.  We very much hope you will be able to join us
