Dear Dr. Hoiss and others, thank you very much for your efforts in organising the next IBAC meeting. I hope that the meeting is a great success. However, I do find it very unfortunate that in 2015, only 1/5 of the plenary talks will be given by female scientists. Overall, I would urge IBAC and others to aim for greater gender balance in its meetings, especially when it comes to the high profile plenaries.
