JOINT INDUSTRY PROGRAMME ON E&P SOUND AND MARINE LIFE, PHASE III

Request for Proposals.

The Joint Industry Programme on E&P Sound and Marine Life is pleased to invite tenders for research to study the potential impacts of marine seismic sources on fish behaviour.  The specification for research proposals can also be downloaded from the programme Web site (http://www.soundandmarinelife.org/media/53191/jip-saml-rfp-fish-and-seismic-050914.pdf ).  Full details on the layout for proposals and the dates for submission are contained in the RFP document.  All submissions will be acknowledged on receipt.  Note that we have extended the deadline for receipt of proposals to 31st October 2014.

The broader web site will also provide general background on the JIP which has been running since 2007 and which to date has commissioned almost 70 research studies totalling in excess of $30 million.
