The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America (JASA) has published a special issue on
Methods for Marine Mammal Passive Acoustics. Many papers in this issue came out of the
Fifth International Workshop on Detection, Classification, Localization, and Density
Estimation of Marine Mammals using Passive Acoustics, which was held at Mt. Hood, Oregon
in August 2011. As an editor of this special issue, I say "thank you" to all
the authors, reviewers, and editors who helped make it happen.

You can obtain the papers from the special issue by contacting the authors or,
if you have a JASA subscription, downloading them from the JASA website.
