For those interested, this is a new data challenge for recognizing Right Whale Contact Calls.

Solutions to this challenge will be ported to a High Performance Computing (HPC) platform, being developed to analyze large archival datasets; work funded through Office of Naval Research (ONR grant N000141210585).  We encourage participants who developed prior solutions (through the collaboration with Marinexplore) to test them on this data.

Prize $500 us.

27 days to go, results will be presented at the Workshop on Machine Learning for Bioacoustics at ICML 2013.
