We are pleased to announce that the third international meeting on the Effects of Noise on Aquatic Life will take place in Budapest, Hungary, August 11-13, 2013.  This follows the highly successful meetings that took place in Nyborg and Cork (2010).

If you are interested in attending, or thinking about attending, please fill out our short survey at: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/AN2013

We will use the information to contact people as the plans for the meeting progress. Moreover, the information provided will help us as we organize the meeting and plan for the program and other sessions. There are no obligations by filling out the survey of course, and information will not be shared with anyone else.

The meeting itself will take place in the Corinthia Hotel in downtown Budapest. This is a great venue since it combines excellent hotel rooms with outstanding meeting and poster spaces, and also has a good deal of space for informal gatherings.  We will also have other hotels nearby for students.

The hotel itself is in the heart of Budapest. Budapest is a wonderful and cosmopolitan city that offers outstanding opportunities for visiting before and after the meeting, and it is also a great place to bring a family since there would be lots for them to do while delegates attend the sessions.

In addition, the conference web site, which will be up by May 1, is www.an2013.org and you can also get information now at www.aquaticnoise.org.

If you have any questions please feel free to contact either of us.
