Dear all,
here some preliminary info on the performances of the EMU TrackerPre, a pretty cheap though reliable USB acquisition device able to run up to 192k with good performances. The frequency response at 192k is flat up to 84kHz and rolls down 1 dB at 90kHz and 6 dB at Nyquist (96kHz). The a-a filters are steeper than those of the USBPre2: INPUT at 0dB ALIAS
100kHz -16dB at 92kHz 102kHz -25dB at 90kHz 104kHz -50dB at 88kHz 112kHz at 80kHz the aliasing components are not measurable
More accurate tests and graphs will follow on on our website at http://www.unipv.it/cibra/res_techtest_uk.html Gianni -- Presidente Centro Interdisciplinare di Bioacustica e Ricerche Ambientali Dipartimento di Biologia Animale Universita' di Pavia Via Taramelli 24 - 27100 PAVIA http://www.unipv.it/cibra http://mammiferimarini.unipv.it Phone +39-0382-987874 |
