This is forwarded from Jay Barlow <>:

I am coordinating a session on acoustic line- and point-transect
density estimation (Distance Sampling) at the upcoming workshop on
Acoustic Detection, Classification, and Localization at Mt. Hood, Oregon.
The meeting is 22-25 Aug. The last day (Aug. 25) will be dedicated to
presentations specific to density estimation, the use of acoustic data
to estimate population density. For more details, see
http://www.bioacoustics.us/dcl.html

I encourage you to submit relevant abstracts for posterand
oral presentation by the deadline date (April 18). See on-line
instructions for submitting abstracts.

Jay
