Dear bioacoustics-l members,

I'm just finishing paper on Cinnamon-breasted Bunting song variation and looking for recordings for comparisons. To give you a short overview. I recorded around 60 males in NW Cameroon and found that all of them share the same final whistle at the end of the song. I wonder if this is widespread among ssp. goslingi (and other ssp. to) or not. Unfortunately, there is paucity of data about the species despite it is so common in subsaharian Africa. At the moment I have only own recordings from Lesotho and some form Ethiopia, Zimbabwe and Kenia.

All the best,
Tomasz
