Dear Bioacoustics-L, We are pleased to announce the general availability of our second generation Song Meter SM2 for both passive terrestrial acoustic monitoring (now) and ultrasonic monitoring for bats (by the end of the year). The new platform improves on our original SM1 design with about half the power consumption, twice the flash capacity, an integrated temperature sensor and data logger, and more modular and expandible to meet a broad range of requirements and applications. For more information, please visit our website at www.wildlifeacoustics.com. Thanks and best regards, Ian Agranat, President Wildlife Acoustics, Inc. +1 978-369-5225 |
