The spring 2010 conference of the Acoustical Society of America will take place
April 19-23, 2010 in Baltimore. There are plans for many sessions related to
bioacoustics:

 * Auditory attention, learning and memory: From neurons to behavior
 * Effects of anthropogenic noise on aquatic animals
 * Estimating spatial density of animal populations with passive acoustics
 * Incorporating context into acoustic automated detection and classification
algorithms
 * Signal processing for subtle and complex animal communications
 * Acoustics in polar environments
 * Blast-induced traumatic brain injury: Mechanisms, assessment, therapy, and
mitigation
 * Acoustics and public policy
 * Effect of noise on humans and non-human animals
 * Standards in psychoacoustics
 * Classification methods in acoustics and non-Gaussian noise
 * Noise control of small submersible vehicles

[Two of these have apparently merged, but I'm not certain which two.]

You're invited to submit abstract(s) for one or more of these sessions, or for other
topics if you like (ASA conferences normally include a "General Topics"
session). The abstract deadline is November 16, which is just over TWO WEEKS AWAY.
Please submit abstracts via the ASA web site, asa.aip.org.

Hope to see you in Baltimore!
