Subject: Special session at ASA meeting in Portland Dear Colleagues, I would like to call your attention to a special session being organized on "Bioacoustic metrics and the impact of noise on the natural environment" at the Acoustical Society of America (ASA) meeting in Portland, Oregon in May (18-22) 2009. This session is intended to bring people together who are involved quantifying and qualifying the biological impacts of anthropogenic noise exposure on marine and terrestrial habitats.
