Within the European Del.Ta. LIFE Nature project, funded by the European Commission, a new product related to acoustic monitoring has been developed. It is a circuit board that emulates two buttons on the m-audio microtrack recorder. The two buttons are ON/OFF and RECORD. This board behaves as a programmable timer, allowing one to schedule mid-term acoustic sampling. Being developed under a public funding, a number of these boards are available FOR FREE to other European research groups. The product is described here: http://www.nauta-rcs.it/Instruments/RASP/NAUTA_RASPtimer_UK.htm Please write if you need any further information.
