Subject: | high sampling rate field recordings |

I am looking for portable recording solutions that have a sampling rate
of 192 kHz and more : I was thinking of combining an external (usb?)
sound card to my laptop but most of the sound cards do not go over
96kHz. I also remember from previous postings that low-pass filtering
issues may decrease the advertised sample rate... Does anyone have
information about high sampling rate sound cards, or other equivalent
solutions for such recordings?
Many thanks, Amanda. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Amanda Searby Postdoctoral Fellow Biology Department, Tyack Lab Caryn House, MS 44 Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution 266 Woods Hole Road Woods Hole, MA 02543 USA Phone: (508)-289-3419 Email: http://www.whoi.edu/people/asearby ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
