A postdoctoral position is available within the Department of Biology at
Emory University to study auditory cortical processing in mice. The
successful applicant will contribute towards our efforts to understand
the neural coding and learning of species-specific communication sounds
(such as those described in Liu et al, JASA 114(6):3412-3422, 2003) in
the mouse cortex. Experience in extracellular electrophysiology is
desirable. Previous experience in audition, communication,
computational neuroscience, multielectrode techniques, chronic recording
or rodent behavior are plusses. Interested candidates should contact
