 5th International Conference on Methods and Techniques in Behavioral
 Wageningen, The Netherlands
 30 August - 2 September 2005
 We are pleased to announce that Measuring Behavior 2005 will be held in
 Wageningen, The Netherlands, 30 August - 2 September 2005. Measuring
 Behavior will offer an attractive mix of presentations, demonstrations,
 discussions, meetings and much more (see

rel="nofollow"></a> for 
details). If
 Measuring Behavior is new for you, the proceedings of the 2002 meeting
 (<a  href=""; 
rel="nofollow"></a>) give a good 
 of what it is all about.
 Call for symposia and SIG proposals
 The Scientific Program Committee invites you to submit proposals for
 symposia and SIGs to be presented at Measuring Behavior 2005. Symposia
 and SIG proposals will be accepted with a strict deadline of 1 December
 2004. Please read the guidelines

rel="nofollow"></a>) carefully 
 submitting your proposal.
 All presentations will deal with innovative methods and techniques in
 behavioral research. Topics include:
 * New Animal Models and Test Methodology 
 * Observational Data Collection 
 * Measuring Vocalisations and Speech
 * Measuring Body Posture and Motion 
 * Measuring Movement and Dispersal 
 * Measuring Human-System Interaction 
 * Behavior and Physiology 
 * Behavioral Analysis 
 * Bioinformatics and Automation 
 * Teaching Behavior Research Methods
