messages to Bioacoustics-L have included formatted text, and as a result many Bioacoustics-L readers were unable to view these messages. All email-sending programs provide some way to post text-only messages, rather than messages with text formatting (font changes, italics, etc.). Most email-sending programs are NOT initially configured to send text-only messages; typically you have to change something under the "Preferences" or "Options" menu items. Along similar lines, please don't send attachments, even small ones. It's far better to put your attachment file onto a web or FTP server, and post a link to its location. Thanks, Dave Mellinger [EMAIL PROTECTED] |
