Hello list,
I am forwarding this message that I received on a wildlife biology list; I
thought that folks on the bioacoustics list might be able to help this
researcher out. Please respond to the e-mail address in the message:
We have something of an emergency here. We're short of an ANA-BAT
detector for some contract work later this summer. Seems the
manufacturers are swamped with orders and can't have the two units we
want for another month or so. While we have one unit which is being
brought on by our bat expert, we need at least one other to cover the
gap between mid-July and mid-August. The actual operation time for the
unit is for two weeks in that period.
The arrangements we're willing to make are quite generous with
anyone who can help in this, our hour of need. A leasing option (again
- very generous) would be a good place to start. All individuals
associated with this endeavour are top-notch and we are prepared to
offer all necessary guarantees and up-front costs to the person who can
help.
So, feel free to forward this to people you think could help out in
this situation. The
e-mail address here is [EMAIL PROTECTED] I'm working in a remote area
this next
week and will have no way to reply on this request. However, we're
renting this place and there are folks here who can deal with replies.
Our project lead for this job is Joe
Whiteman. Our phone here in our home away from home is 530-258-2935.
Mid-day California time is best - we're all night owls. Thanks for
anything you can do with this.
